Baptism / Bautismo
Holy Baptism is the basis of Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives us access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word." The requirements for baptism are: Must be a registered member of the church for at least three (3) months, register for the Pre-Baptismal class at least one month before class starts, must present copy of birth certificate, Godparents must be practicing Catholic and, if married, were married in a Catholic Church.

El santo Bautismo es el fundamento de toda la vida cristiana, la puerta de la vida en el espíritu y la puerta que abre el acceso a los otros sacramentos. Por el Bautismo somos liberados del pecado y regenerados como hijos de Dios, llegamos a ser miembros de Cristo y somos incorporados a la Iglesia y hechos partícipes de su misión: "El Bautismo es el sacramento del nuevo nacimiento para el agua y la palabra." Los requistos para poder bautizar son: Estar registrados en la parroquia por lo menos tres (3) meses antes del Bautismo, deben registrarse por lo menos un mes antes de la clase Pre-Bautismal, debe presentar copia del acta de nacimiento, llenar un formulario en la oficina parroquial, padrinos deben ser católicos practicantes y si están casados, necesitan estar casados por la Iglesia Católica.

Confirmation / Confirmación
Baptism, the Eucharist and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the "sacraments of Christian initiation," whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. For "by the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are most perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Chirst, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed. The requirements are: To be at least 13 years old (registrations are in August and September,) registered members of the parish, presenting Baptism record. Classes are on Saturday 8:00am - 11:30am, Sunday 8:00am - 1:00pm.

Con el Bautismo y la Eucaristía, el sacramento de la Confirmación constituye el conjunto de los "sacramentos de la iniciación cristiana", cuya unidad debe ser salvaguardada. Es preciso, pues, explicar a los fieles que la recepción de este sacramento es necesaria para la plenitud de la gracia bautismal. En efecto, a los bautizados "el sacramento de la Confirmación los une más intimamente a Iglesia y los enriquece con una fortaleza especial del Espíritu Santo. De esta forma se comprometen mucho más, como auténticos testigos de Cristo, a extender y defender la fé con sus palabras y sus obras. Los requistos son: Tener 13 años de edad (las inscripciones son en Agosto y Septiembre,) tienen que estar registrados en la parroquia, traer la fe de Bautismo reciente. Las Clases son los Sabados de 8:00am - 11:30am, Domingos 8:00am - 1:00pm.

Eucharist / Eucaristía
"At the Last Supper, on the night he was betrayed, our Saviour instituted the Eucharistic sacrifice of his Body and Blood. This he did in order to perpetuate the sacrifice of the cross throughout the ages until he should come again, and so to entrust to his beloved Spouse, the Church, a memorial of his death and resurrection: A sacrament of love,a sign of unity, a bond of charity, a Paschal banquet 'in which Chirst is consumed, the mind is filled with grace, and a pledge of future glory is given to us.' The requirements are: Must be in 3rd grade, need baptism record, be registered in the parish. Classes are on Saturday 8:00am - 11:30am, Sunday 8:00am - 1:00pm.

"Nuestro Salvador en la última Cena, la noche que fué entregado, instituyó el sacrificio eucarístico de su cuerpo y su sangre para perpetuar por los siglos, hasta su vuelta, el sacrificio de la cruz y confiar así a su Esposa amada, la Iglesia, el memorial de su muerte y resurrección, sacramento de piedad, signo de unidad, vínculo de amor, banquete pascual en el que se recibe a Cristo, el alma se llena de gracia y se nos dá una prenda de la gloria futura." Los requistos son: Estar en 3er grado de primaria, traer la fe de Bautismo, estar registrados en la parroquia. Las clases son los Sabados de 8:00am - 11:30am, y Domingos 8:00am - 1:00pm.

Penance and Reconciliation / Penitencia y Reconciliación
"Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God's mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion." Confessions are heard 1/2 hour before each weekend mass, but you can receive this sacrament at any time you request it.

"Los que se acercan al sacramento de la Penitencia obtienen de la misericordia de Dios el perdón de los pecados cometidos contra Él y, al mismo tiempo, se reconcilian con la Iglesia, a la que ofendieron con sus pecados. Ella les mueve la conversión con su amor, su ejemplo y sus oraciones. Confesiones son 1/2 hora antes de cada misa del fin de semana, pero usted puede recibir este sacramento en cualquier momento que usted lo requiera.

Anointing of the Sick / Unción de los Enfermos
"By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priest to the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them. And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and Death of the Christ." At any time you can request this sacrament. Please call the parish office when anyone is ill and would like to receive the Eucharist and/or be anointed. There are Visits to the Sick every Friday after 8:30am mass.

"Con la sagrada unción de los enfermos y con toda la oración de los presbíteros, toda la Iglesia entera encomienda a los enfermos al Señor sufriente y glorificado para que los alivie y los salve. Incluso los anima a unirse libremente a la pasíon y muerte de Cristo; y contribuir, así, al bien del Pueblo de Dios." A cualquier hora puede requerir este sacramento. Llame a la oficina parroquial cuando alguien este enfermo/a y quiera recibir la Eucaristía o la Unción. Se hacen visitas a los enfermos todos los Viernes después de la Misa de 8:30am.

The Sacraments of Holy Orders / Sacramento del Orden
Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to His Apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time; thus it is the sacrament of apostolic ministry. It includes three degrees: Episcopate, presbyterate and diaconate.

El Orden es el sacramento gracias al cual la misión confiada por Cristo a sus apóstoles sigue siendo ejercida en la Iglesia hasta el fin de los tiempos: Es, pues, el sacramento del ministerio apostólico. Comprende tres grados: El episcopado, el presbiterado y el diaconado.

The Sacraments of Matrimony
Sacramento del Matrimonio
"The matrimonial covenant, by which man and a woman establish between themsleves a partnership of the whole life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament." The requirements are: Must be a registered member for at least six months, must fill out marriage application three months prior to the wedding, Birth certificate (original), Baptism and Confirmation certificates (recent), need Marriage License or copy of State Marriage Certificate and Pre-wedding classes.

"La alianza matrimonial, por la cual el varón y la mujer constituyen entre sí un consorcio de toda la vida, ordenado por su misma índole natural al bien de los cónyuges y la generación y educación de la prole, fué elevada por Cristo Nuestro Señor a la dignidad de sacramento entre bautizados." Los requistos son: Debe ser un meimbro registrado por lo menos seis meses, llenar una aplicación para casarse tres meses antes matrimonio, Acta de nacimiento (original,) certificados de Bautizo y Confirmación (recientes,) necesita Licencia Matrimonial o copia del Registro Civil y las clases Pre-matrimoniales
